SoftPath:     

SoftPath offers a total solution for anatomical pathology labs.  It allows the user site to create a workflow that is compatible with its environment.  The reporting is facilitated through a full version of Microsoft Word that is embedded into its core.  This makes the generation of reports limitless.  The intuitive design of the software improves the turnaround time for specimen. 

1. SoftPath provides instrument interfacing to cassette labelers and slides etchers and allows for automatic slide and cassette labeling.  Staff throughput therefore increases.
2. Structured data elements allows for standardization of data entry and reduces the need for transcription therefore resulting in a faster turnaround time for final reporting.
3. SoftPath enables autofaxing and scheduled printing of reports as well as interfacing with any hospital automated database so that actual results can be attached to patient records without transcription errors or phone calls.

Users are able to automatically order tests from the other components of the SoftComputer Suite (SoftLab and SoftMic) based on resulting criteria established in SoftPath.  The system will therefore be able to import the results into the report for completion.  This saves time and creates the relation between Pathology ,Microbiology and the wider Lab.
