In our Blood transfusion services environment, it is of paramount importance to provide safe, disease free, accurate blood products from our Blood Bank to supply the daily needs of routine patients as well as in cases of emergencies.

SoftBank II is an operational laboratory information system that allows the University of the West Indies Blood Bank lab to maximize the day to day operations of the lab, reduces the turnaround time for tests and the preparation of blood products, improve on a paperless documentation of critical information and significantly maximizing the efficiency of the laboratory.
