SoftBill:    

This is a subset of the Accounts Receivable module SoftAR. The purpose is to gather the charges and send them to an interface to Banner Finance. The system in place has the capacity to provide information on billing charges for all tests that have been processed by the laboratories. The application is interfaced to Banner Finance where the payment and collection process takes place.

The SoftBill module facilitates the timely and accurate billing, collections and accounts receivable of laboratory test done.  It meets complex Medicare billing regulations and combinations, including Correct Coding Initiative (CCI) as established by Centers for Medicare and other program safeguards.
