The University of the West Indies, Mona, regrets to inform you that our former colleague, Mrs. Daphne Lowers Scale, has died.
Mrs. Lowers Scale joined The University of the West Indies, Mona in 1990 as a Cleaner in the Department of Zoology (now Life Sciences), Faculty of Science and Technology. She served the University faithfully until her retirement as Chief Laboratory Attendant in 2020.
In light of this death, The UWI flags will be flown at half-mast on Monday, August 5, 2024.
The UWI, Mona extends condolences to the family and friends of the late Mrs. Daphne Lowers Scale.
