Want to apply now? It's easy. To submit an application, just follow these simple steps:

Application Process for Study Abroad Applicants

      • Step two – Step two Contact the Study Abroad Office at your home university for information and approval.
      • Step three – Send all application documents for study abroad to the UWI International Students Office (UWI-ISO) through the Study Abroad Office at your home institution.
      • Step four – Send along documentation verifying the information on your application form: your diploma/degree and birth certificates, transcripts and any other relevant material.

NOTE: All application documents not in English should be accompanied by certified English translations.

Application Process for Exchange Applicants

Students participating in an exchange with the University of the West Indies, Mona (UWI, Mona) will be selected by the relevant authority at their home university; however, approval for admission to the Mona Campus will be the responsibility of the University of the West Indies (UWI).

In order to be eligible for admittance to the UWI, Mona exchange applicants should:

      • be registered as a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate student at the home institution
      • have spent at least one academic year at the home institution
      • have attained at least a GPA of 3.0 or the equivalent at his/her home institution
      • have not been the subject of any disciplinary action and have no such action pending against him/her at his/her home institution
