Postgraduate Services 

The Library offers a number of services and special facilities to our Postgraduate users. Training sessions can be accessed as a 

group or on an individual basis. Postgraduates may complete the linked forms to assistance in the following areas

The Library at The University of the West Indies provides access to its collection and services to all users including those with disabilities.

Marked disability parking spaces are available and there are ramps that provide easy access to the physical buildings. Other services (The Main Library only) include:

The following services are offered in the Reprographic Services Unit (RESU), Main Library.

Printing is available in the Library via the Pharos printing system. Users may print from all public access workstations in the Main Library; and the Law, Medical and Science Branches.

The Library provides computer access to registered users.  Wireless access is also  available via UWI Hot Spots from all locations in the Library. Users have access to Microsoft Office Suite  for word processing, spreadsheets and presentation along with SPSS and Endnote (a citation management software).

Access to digitised photocopies is provided from the Library's OPAC. These may be read or printed from ALL computers in the library or off Campus.

The Electronic Reserves Collection of the University of the West Indies Library is maintained for the non-profit educational use of students and faculty and as such, access to the pages is granted only to registered students and current faculty and staff of the University of the West Indies, Mona.

If the library does  not own the research material you require, you may request  it via Interlibrary loan. However you should be willing to pay the charges incurred.

Journal articles, books, book chapters, microfilm (including theses) microfiche, DVDs and Cds can be sourced.

The lending institution has the right to determine the conditions of use.

Interlibrary loan requests may be submitted by telephone,email, fax and SFX Interface in the databases.

License agreements for many of the Library's electronic resources permit access from off-campus only to registered students, current faculty and staff of the University of the West Indies, Mona.
