BSc Experimental Biology

Overview
The BSc in Experimental Biology is designed to expose students to a wide range of laboratory based courses which reflect the variety of specializations available within the subject of biology. These include areas as diverse as Plant Biotechnology, Parasitology and Vertebrate Biology.

The programme is intended to appeal to those students seeking a degree which emphasizes a laboratory-based experimental approach to Biology with concomitant expertise in a wide range of laboratory techniques. The design of the programme encourages students to combine courses from the three main areas of Biology: Animal Biology, Plant Biology and the Biology of Microbes.
