Explanation of criteria used in generating reports from PeopleSoft HRMS 

General : 

Action date - the run date of the source data from PeopleSoft HRMS is September 30, 2005, this is important to note as the data is very dynamic therefore changes in figures may be seen in reports generated at any date thereafter. 

Full-Time Faculty by Highest Qualification reports were generated using the following criteria:

1. Business Units for Faculties and employees in the Academic category.
2. Bachelor's, Master's, Doctorate and Post Doctorate qualifications were reported, other qualifications were omitted e.g. High Schools and qualifications not indicated.
3. Full-Time employees only.
4. Regular and Temporary status.
5. Concurrent jobs were omitted.

NB.  The omission of the qualifications "Not Indicated" or High Schools will cause differences in the staff count.
