Philip Sherlock Lecture

Dr. Barbara Gloudon, renowned journalist, playwright and cultural activist will deliver the Philip Sherlock Lecture on Thursday, February 24, 2011 at 6 pm at Philip Sherlock Centre for the Creative Arts (PSCCA). The Lecture is entitled, Theatre and the Marketplace.

All are invited.

The event is a part of the Philip Sherlock International Arts Festival which runs from February 22 to March 15. The Festival will include several performances such as LymeLight where UWI student talents will be on display on February 25 at 8 pm, L’Antech: Dancing in Patois on February 26 and Tallawah: Re-scene and Tapestry on February 27. Other performances include Jamaica Dance Umbrella on March 3-6 and Beijing and Culture University’s Arts Troupe on March 14-15 which is presented in association with the Confucius Institute.
