Mar 2 2013 (Time To Be Announced) Elect Her is a one-day training programme that encourages university women to run for student government on their campus in the hopes that they will later run for elected office at the highest levels of leadership.
The Mary Seacole Hall with the help of the American Association of University Women will host an Elect Her training session for 100 participants from universities and colleges across Jamaica along with sixth form students of select secondary schools. UWI Mona is the only campus outside of North America that hosts this renowned annual event.
