Mar 19 2013 - 5:30pm This year's lecture entitled "Was Freedom Portable?: Wartime journeys from Saint Domnique to Jamaica to Cuba to Louisiana" will be delivered by Professor Rebecca J Scott; Charles Gibson, distinguished Professor of History and Professor of Law, University of Michigan, USA. This lecture will focus on the phenomenon of illegal enslavement in the aftermath of the Haitian revolution.
