Creative Industries Seminar under the theme: "Exporting Creativity"

The Institute of Caribbean Studies and the Reggae Studies Unit, in collaboration with the British Council will host a two-day Creative Industries Seminar under the theme "Exporting Creativity" on March 25 and 26 at the Knutsford Court Hotel in New Kingston.  Registration begins at 8.30 a.m. each day. Presentations run from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. each day.
The event's key focus is to facilitate an understanding of potential opportunities in overseas markets and to provide a map of how to export creative products.
Speakers include representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Jamaica Customs, JAMPRO, and UK Consultants, Ziggi Golding and Neil Robinson.
Creative Industry Practitioners/Producers, new and emerging entrants into the Creative Industries and University students who have an interest in the Creative Industries are especially invited to participate.
The event is free.
