The University of the West Indies, Mona campus, in association with the University of Missouri presents the Africa World documentary Film Festival at the Neville Hall Lecture Theatre. Admission is Free. The Opening ceremony takes place on April 24 at 6:00 p.m. while the film screenings begin 2:00 p.m. each day starting April 25 to 28. Films include 'Dear Mandela'; 'Rwanda 17: Healing a nation; and 'I am Gay and Muslim'. See event flyer

 

The launch event takes place on Wednesday, April 24 at 6:00 p.m. at the Neville Hall Lecture Thatre where 'Rwanda 17 - Healing a Nation' will be screened. High Commissioners of South Africa and Nigeria to Jamaica will address the launch ceremony.
