Description:
INSIGHTS into Children's Temperament is a school-based intervention for parents, teachers, and children in under-resourced schools.  It's efficacy has been tested in three clinical trials in New York City.  Results support that INSIGHTS enhances children's academic skills, improves their behaviour and enhances parenting and classroom management.
Professor McClowry is the developer of INSIGHTS and has been the principal investigator of the clinical trials. She is currently a Fulbright Scholar at UWI where she and her colleagues, Drs. Rose Davies and Loraine Cook, are culturally adapting the program and disseminating it in Jamaica.
