The telemedicine presentation is a special ICT feature of the Principal's Research Days activities to demonstrate the use of innovative technology in the UWI. The presentation will showcase the new facilities of the Hugh Wynyer Fertility Management Unit including two "state of the art" operating rooms which, in the future will facilitate robotic assisted surgery. The live connectivity between the lecture theatre and operating theatres, demonstration of laparoscopic surgery, in-vitro fertilization (IVF), M.Sc. Counselling in distance Education and training in minimally access surgery, will be featured. Presentations will be done by the HWFMU teaching and consulting team.
