The Elsa Goveia Memorial Lecture is on this week memorializing the work of the late academic who was the first female Professor in the English Speaking Caribbean. The focus for the 30th Lecture? Post slavery laws. Dr Kathleen Monteith, Head of the Department of History and Archaeology shares the details. Plus, the Kennth Ingram Memorial Lecture is also on with a focus on navigating the archives of slavery. Ms Tania Manassi, Mona Campus Librarian joins us this week with the details.
