Apr 10 2014 - 2:30pm The French Embassy in collaboration with The Department of History & Archaeology and The Department of Government, UWI Mona present a showing of the documentary “Les Combattants Africains De La Grande Guerre” [Translation: ‘African Veterans of the Great War’]. Using the testimonies of veterans, the documentary takes a look at African soldiers who fought during World War 1.
This showing is held in commemoration of the First World War Centenary (1914 -2014).
