CARIMAC Open Week is an annual event held towards the end of Semester II at the University of the West Indies, Mona Campus.  The event is hosted by CARIMAC and showcases the work of the faculty and students of the Institute.
 
Each year, final year students present their work to various special interest groups; industry representatives, prospective employers, future students of media and communication among others. The event is open to members of the university community and the public.  This year’s CARIMAC Open Week occurs April 28 to May 1.

  • Radio Documentary Presentations, Location: CARIMAC Lecture Room; Time 10am-12noon
  • Television Production Presentations, Location: CARIMAC Lecture Room; Time 1pm-3pm

Tuesday, April 29    

  • Communication Audit Presentations, Location: CARIMAC Annex 2; Time 9am-2pm
  • Communication Business Plan Pitches, Location: CARIMAC Annex 2; Time 5pm-8pm
  • Communication Analysis and Planning II Presentations (WJC), Location: Western Jamaica Campus; Time 10am-12noon
  • Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC) Final Year Project Presentations (WJC), Location: Western Jamaica Campus; Time 1pm-3pm

Wednesday, April 30

  • Digital Media Production Presentations, Location: CARIMAC Annex 2; Time 4pm-5pm
  • Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC) Final Year Project Presentations (Mona), Location: CARIMAC Annex 2; Time 6pm-8pm

Thursday, May 1

  • Launch of “CARIMAC Times”, Location: Lawns of CARIMAC; Time 6pm-8pm
