Jul 17 2014 - 7:00pm - 9:00pm The UWI Alumni Association (UWIAA) hosts its annual Pelican award ceremony on
July 17, 2014 at the Mona Visitor’s Lodge at 7 p.m. (Cocktails at 6:30 p.m.)
The Pelican Award is given to a graduate of the UWI who has contributed greatly to the development of the University or has contributed to the Caribbean. This year's awardees are Clinical Director of the University Health Centre Dr. Blossom Anglin-Brown , Professor of Public Health and Ageing, Denise Eldemire-Shearer, and Principal of The UWI, Mona Campus, Professor Archibald McDonald.
