Sep 25 2014 - 6:00pm The Faculty of Law will be hosting a public lecture by Dr Ramona Biholar entitled 'Addressing discriminatory gender stereotyping endorsed by the law. The review of the Jamaica Sexual Offences Act 2009', on Tuesday September 23, 2014 at 6:00 pm in the Faculty of Law building at the University of the West Indies, Mona Campus. This lecture will be used to officially launch Dr Biholar’s book entitled: “Transforming Discriminatory Sex Roles and Gender Stereotyping: The implementation of Article 5 (a) CEDAW for the realisation of women’s right to be free from gender-based violence in Jamaica.”
