Kijan Bloomfield is an advanced doctoral candidate in the Religion, Ethics, and Politics subfield in the department of Religion at Princeton University.  Her dissertation is an interdisciplinary project that explores the role of religious ethics in politics and social change in Jamaica. She completed ethnographic research in Tivoli Gardens as part of her project. She earned an A.B. in Religion from Bowdoin College in Maine and a M.A. in International Educational Development from Columbia University in New York.
