World Tsunami Awareness Day 2018 - ‘Outside Broadcast’

The Office of Disaster Preparedness and Emergency Management (ODPEM) partners with the University of the West Indies (UWI) Mona Campus’ Earthquake Unit in observation of WTAD2018 to host an outside broadcast on November 5, 2018 at the Faculty of Science And Technology (FST), UWI. 
 
The broadcast will be carried by RJR94 FM’s Hotline hosted by Clive Mullings.  Interviews will feature a selection of disaster specialists from the disaster fraternity locally and regionally.
 
The objective of World Tsunami Awareness Day is to raise public awareness of the deadly threat posed by tsunamis and share innovative approaches to reducing risk.
