ou are invited to the Institute of Caribbean Studies’ 6th Biennial Global Reggae Conference scheduled for February 13-16, 2019 in the heart of Reggae Month.  Main conference days during the period February 14-16 will feature panels covering a range of topics emanating from the conference theme ‘Reggae Innovation and Sound System Culture’.  Events of note include the 22nd Annual Bob Marley Lecture, and the Conference Closing featuring a launch of the Global Reggae Archive in partnership with Birmingham City University (UK) to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Reggae Studies Unit on February 16th at 7:00pm.
