The Confucius Institute (CI) at The University of the West Indies, Mona Campus, recently celebrated its 10^th anniversary. Following on this milestone, the Confucius Institute Headquarters, Hanban, has kindly asked that Mona host this year's Regional Meeting of the Caribbean Confucius Institutes.

As such, we kindly request the pleasure of your presence at a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the official opening of the new Confucius Institute Teaching Building on Wednesday, October 16, 2019, commencing at 5:30 p.m. Present at this ceremony will be Hanban officials, representatives from the Taiyuan University of Technology, CI Directors from across the Caribbean Region as well as representatives from The UWI, Mona Campus.

Following the brief ceremony, there will be the official launch of the Regional Meeting to be held in the Lecture Theatre of the Confucius Institute.
