Community service is at the heart of the student experience at The University of the West Indies, Mona. At right, Taylor Hall resident Dalton Allen is engaged in painting walls at Nell's Learning Centre in Tavern, St. Andrew. Other members of the Hall donated and installed fans for the classrooms, painted and cleaned the school property and provided a treat for the children.

Students from other halls of residence as well as commuting students engage in a range of outreach activities including elderly care, child development and educational support.
