The Philip Sherlock Centre for the Creative Arts operates on the principle that each student at The UWI, Mona should be entitled to participate in cultural activities which contribute to the individual's national and Caribbean identity. Student drama is facilitated through the University Dramatic Arts Society (UDAS) which represents the longest unbroken tradition in the performing arts at Mona.
