The International Students Office (ISO) works to boost the enrollment of international students at the Mona Campus. The Office also provides a wide range of support services for non-Jamaican students, giving them a place to call home while on full time study, exchange or study abroad programmes, or visiting The UWI, Mona Campus for elective clerkships, or research/study purposes.

While the ISO  offers information intended to help international students adjust more easily to Jamaica’s culture and to life at The UWI, Mona, another function is to disseminates information about scholarships to local students who wish to participate in study abroad programmes, thereby widening their own knowledge and perspectives  of other cultures.
