The newly-opened Teaching & Research Complex is a part of the Faculty's thrust to increase student intake as the demand for programmes in the medical sciences continues to rise. The building boasts some of the most advanced state of the art teaching labs, research labs, lecture theatres and tutorial rooms. The new facility will accentuate the UWI's reputation for high quality teaching and first class research in many areas related to Tropical Medicine, a key point of differentiation for the institution.
