Practical. Interactive. Creative communication for tomorrow's generations. Digital media, combining the digital arts, science, technology and business "for human expression, communication, social interaction and education".

Enleigh Kerr of Jamaica, Kiah Proute from Barbados and Ronald Greaves of St. Vincent and the Grenadines are all pursuing the Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Digital Media Production, offered by the Caribbean Institute of Media and Communication (CARIMAC) at the UWI, Mona's Western Jamaica Campus in Montego Bay, St. James. Students pursuing this degree programme will develop skills that are not only immediately marketable to the region’s media and communication services, but will also be globally competitive.

The programme produces students who have contemporary skills for today's media and communication market. They are critical and analytical thinkers that can adapt to the rapidly changing communication environment and the growing importance of digital technologies.
