Mrs. Tracia-Gay Kennedy-Dixon, Chief Pharmacist at The UWI Health Centre is one of several persons who have pursued the Master of Science (MSc) in Applied Pharmacology programme, with special focus in personalized patient drug management. The programme provides students with the theoretical and practical background for effective careers in the discipline of pharmacology, such as medical representatives, clinical research assistants, pre-clinical research assistants, specialists in pharmaceutical marketing, safety and regulatory affairs.

All students are exposed to practical skills in Drug development, Drug Trial monitoring, Clinical Pharmacology and Clinical Pharmacy. They choose electives based on whether their focus is sales/marketing or regulations or clinical aspects of pharmacology.
