Corporate and Commercial Law Programmes

The Faculty of Law, University of the West Indies invites applications to its LL.M. and Advanced Diploma programmes in Corporate and Commercial Law, commencing September 2003 and January 2004. These are innovative graduate programmes designed to place students at the cutting edge of new developments in commercial law.
The programmes are aimed at legal practitioners, professionals practicing in Commercial and Corporate Law and persons interested in higher legal education and specialization in key legal disciplines. These graduate programmes will be delivered on all three campuses – St. Augustine, Mona and Cave Hill and classes will be held during week nights and weekends. Distance learning through UWIDEC, the Internet and intensive workshops will also be employed. A novel feature of these courses of study is the incorporation of leading legal practitioners from all over the region as adjunct professors.
Students may enter the programme either in Semester One (September), or in Semester Two (January). Applications for September 2003 must reach the Admissions Department, attention Mrs. Paula Jarvis on or before July 30 and applications for January 2004 on or before October 30.
