The University of the West Indies, Mona wishes to further advise that following the passage of Hurricane Dean the Campus has returned to normality since Wednesday, August 22.

Water, electricity and the Campus’ information technology and telecommunications systems including student registration information systems, broadband and dial up services have been restored.

Faculty and all members of staff are required to report for normal work no later than Thursday, August 23.

Parents and Spouses Orientation has been rescheduled to Saturday, August 25 at the Interfaculty Lecture Theatre at 8:30 a.m.

New students who have been offered accommodation in halls of residence should arrive in their assigned halls on Saturday, August 25. Orientation activities for new students will commence on Sunday, August 26 at 8:30 a.m. at Rex Nettleford Hall.

Returning students who have been offered accommodation in halls of residence should arrive in their halls on Sunday, August 26.

In the meantime students are being reminded that they may register online any time for their courses.
