The University of the West Indies, Mona Campus wishes to advise that normal operations will resume at the Campus on Monday, September 1, 2008 and all administrative offices and other services will be open for business at the usual times.

In light of the disruptions caused by Tropical Storm Gustav, registration will be extended for another two days, Monday, September 1 and Tuesday, September 2 and academic staff will be available for counselling during this period.

Classes will begin on Wednesday, September 3.

Students at the Western Jamaica Campus are advised that registration and academic counselling will take place on Tuesday, September 2, 2008. Students in the Faculty of Humanities and Education should also note that the Dean’s Address will take place on Tuesday, September 2 at 10.00 a.m. while those in the Faculty of Social Sciences will be addressed by their Dean at 2.00 p.m.
