The UWI, Mona wishes to advise members of staff and the wider public that there will be normal operations at the Campus on Tuesday, May 25, 2010. Examinations scheduled for the Faculty of Medical Sciences will also take place as planned.

However, The UWI, Mona reminds staff that their personal safety and security is of paramount importance and that this should be the very first consideration in any assessment of whether to report for work. Staff should listen to radio reports and be guided by news releases from the Government. They are also encouraged to follow the lawful instructions of the Security Forces and to call their local police stations if they feel threatened where they are.
