UWI lecturers are invited to apply for the 2012-2014 Fulbright/LASPAU Faculty Development Program to undertake master's or doctoral-level study at U.S. universities. The scholarship is applicable to all fields of study with the exception of medicine, nursing, and dentistry. The award covers the cost of tuition, airfare to and from the United States, book allowance, monthly stipend and health insurance.

The scholarship is for one year beginning August/September 2012 and is renewable for a second year. It does not cover expenses for the grantee’s family. Recipients of a previous Fulbright grant are not eligible to apply.
