80 Medical Students Volunteer to join The Government’s efforts to contain the spread of COVID-19

Eighty (80) final year medical students at The UWI, Mona have volunteered to join The Government’s efforts to contain the spread of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19). The UWI Mona signed the MOU with the Government of Jamaica to mark this commitment on Tuesday, April 7, 2020. The students will work in medical surveillance and communications, managing calls to the COVID-19 Hotlines at The UWI Mona Call Centre.
