Pro Vice-Chancellor and Principal of The UWI Mona Campus, Prof. Dale Webber, is flanked by the Mona Campus Registrar, Dr. Donavan Stanberry (right) and PwC Territory Leader, Mr. Leighton McKnight at the handing-over of laptops to the University on Friday, May 29, 2020. The contribution of 20 laptops to the University was made to assist students in need of such devices to facilitate online remote learning.

At the handing over event, Mr McKnight said “this is for the University to use in whatever way it deems necessary because I know there is a paradigm shift in how we are operating as a country and as a university. Everything is now virtual. This is to my University with love.”

Also speaking during the handing-over, Prof. Webber stated: “We thank PwC who, as corporate giants and good corporate citizens, have turned their attention to education, which is a big part of their portfolio. We thank them for helping the University and by extension our students at a time in need. We are extremely grateful and we look forward to the continued partnership.”
