Feb 9 2016 - 7:30am - 9:30am Jamaican-born dub poet, recording artiste, playwright and educator Michael St. George will speak on Tuesday, February 9 at the University of the West Indies, Mona in the "Reggae Talks" series hosted by the Department of Literatures in English. Based in Toronto, St. George is a politically engaged activist whose poetry advocates social justice. St George will focus on "Dub Poetry in Transition". His talk takes place in the N2, Faculty of Humanities and Education, at 7:30 p.m. Admission is free and the public is invited to attend.
