Professor D. A. N. Hoyte passed away on August 23, 2004 in the little village of West Leake in Nottinghamshire, England. He was Professor of Anatomy, UWI in the sixties and seventies when he left Jamaica. He will be remembered by his medical students for the clarity and enthusiasm with which he taught Anatomy at Mona.
