Twenty Seven Open Scholarships for the 2004 – 2005 Academic Year
The University of the West Indies has awarded some twenty seven open scholarships for the 2004 – 2005 academic year. The scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic merit as assessed by the University Scholarship Examination which is set each year. Eleven of the awardees will pursue studies at the UWI’s Mona Campus, three will attend at the Cave Hill Campus in Barbados and the remaining thirteen will pursue undergraduate studies at the St. Augustine Campus in Trinidad. The UWI open scholarship award covers the student’s full tuition and maintenance costs including residence fee, book grant, meals, miscellaneous fees and charges for the duration of study.
