The Instructional Development Unit (IDU) invites members of the academic and senior administrative staff to a Portfolio/Teaching Dossier Workshop. This workshop is designed to assist lecturers in their personal and professional development through reflection on the strengths and weaknesses of their practice as educators, in order to identify which aspects of that practice need to be reinforced and developed. It also provides an assessment tool for persons interested in applying for teaching awards e.g. the UWI/Guardian Life Premium Teaching Award 2006.
The workshop will be held on Tuesday May 3 and Wednesday May 4, 2005 between 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. each day in the Multifunctional Room, Main Library.
