The Department of Sociology, Psychology and Social Work, the Social Welfare Training Centre, UWI, Mona in association with the Association of Social Work Educators and the Jamaica Association of Social Workers present the 7th Biennial Conference of Caribbean and International Social Work Educators from August 8-11. The theme of the conference is Advancing Social Work Praxis in an Era of Global Transformation.
The Department is inviting proposals for papers and workshops on topics such as Global Caring and Support; Social Work Roles in Poverty Eradication; Government, Social Policy and Human Rights; Governance and Service Delivery; Sustainable Development and Disaster Mitigation; Indigenization and Authentication: Best Practice; Education, Technical and Practice.
