The HRD Alumni Association and the MSc. Human Resource Development programme, Department of Sociology, Psychology and Social Work, UWI will host a panel discussion on Sexual Harassment in the Workplace: Towards a National Policy on Wednesday, November 10 in Seminar Room II at the Social Welfare Training Centre, UWI. from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The presenters on the panel will be Mrs. Antonnette Haughton-Cardenal who will speak on the Sexual Harrassment Bill that has been tabled in the Jamaican Parliament; Mrs. Faith Webster, Acting Director of the Policy & Research Unit at the Bureau of Women’s Affairs in the Ministry of Labour who will focus on gender and human rights perspectives; and a representative of the Jamaica Employers' Federation who will speak from the perspective of the employers.
