The Caribbean Tertiary Level Personnel Association (CTLPA) will host a workshop for Student Services personnel on Friday, November 19 at the Medallion Hall Hotel in Kingston. The theme of the workshop is Student Services Personnel – Preparing Students for Life. The workshop’s objectives include examining theories dealing with student development in tertiary level institutions and discussing what the literature says about how the institutions’ environment enhance or restrict student development and thus impact positively or negatively on student learning. Presenters Include Mr. Burchell Duhaney, Principal Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts; Mrs. Merrit Henry, President CTLPA; Mrs. Marine Cunningham, Immediate Past President, CTLPA; and Dr. Thelora Reynolds, President Elect CTLPA.
