Branding the UWI
Chancellor of the UWI, Sir George Alleyne has said that it is in the interest of the University that it protects and maintains a strong brand among members of the public it serves. Sir George was speaking at the UWI Mona 2004 graduation ceremonies at Mona. The Chancellor noted that “the success of branding in a university depends on the experience as well as the product. It is in our interest that the public retain trust in us, regard us as standing for certain values and automatically equate us with quality in any of the spheres in which we move”.
