The University of the West Indies is pleased to announce the appointment of Mrs. Norma Amenu-Kpodo, former Deputy Campus Librarian to the post of Campus Librarian at UWI, Mona, effective October 1, 2004. She succeeds former Campus and University Librarian Stephney Ferguson who retired at the end of September 2004. Mrs. Amenu-Kpodo is no stranger to her new role having acted as Campus Librarian in 2002/2003. She joined the staff of the UWI Library in 1980 as Head of the Government Serials/UN/OAS Collections, and prior to that appointment, she worked at libraries in Canada and at the Balme Library, University of Ghana in Africa.
