The UWI will be hosting a three-day Conference for small island states universities, entitled, “University Consortium of Small Island States” (SIDS). This will be held in the Council Room on the Mona Campus from August 29-31, 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Participating universities include the University of the West Indies, the University of South Pacific, the University of Mauritius, the University of Malta, and the University of the Virgin Islands.
The Vice Chancellor, Prof. E. Nigel Harris, as well as representatives and academic experts in the related subject areas, will attend the Conference.
