The University Theological College of the West Indies (UTCWI) will celebrates its Fortieth Anniversary this year with a series of events to take place over the period January to November this year. The celebrations will begin with a Church Service to be held on Wednesday, January 19 at the University Chapel, beginning at 6:00 p.m. Guest Speaker at the function will be the Executive Secretary for Church Development in the Programme Unit on Evangelization and Church Growth of the General Board of Global Ministries of the United Methodist Church, Rev. Keith Rae. A Barbadian, Rev. Rae is a former Minister of the Methodist Church in the Caribbean and the Americas. He is also a Ministerial Member of the New England Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church where he served churches in Massachusetts, Connecticut and Rhode Island before being seconded to the General Board of Global Ministries in 1982.
