Semester Two begins

Classes have resumed for the second semester for the 2004-2005 academic year at The University of the West Indies. The University wishes to advise that all tuition fees for the second semester become due and payable at the start of the semester. Registration without penalty is allowed up to January 21. Late registration after January 21 is allowed up to January 28, but students are subject to a late registration fee of J$1000 as well as a fine of one (1) per cent on the amount of fees outstanding.
Students are advised that tuition, halls of residence and late fees may be paid at any branch of Paymaster, the National Commercial Bank or Bill Express, Island-wide. Students may also use the UWI’s e-Commerce facility to make payments. Further information on the payment facilities may be obtained from the UWI’s website . Students are asked to note that all fees must be paid in full no later than January 31, 2005. Any student who fails to pay in full by January 31, 2005, will be deregistered and required to take leave of absence for the semester.
