UWI HIV/AIDS Response Programme

Sex in The City - A Healthy Sex Life Health Fair
The University of the West Indies HIV/AIDS Control Programme, in association with The Ministry of Health, through their Kingston & St. Andrew HIV/AIDS-STI Prevention and Control Programme will be staging a healthy sex life health fair at the Undercroft and Lawns on February 14, 2005 (Valentine’s Day) from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00p.m. The theme of the Health fair is ‘SEX IN THE CITY’. This event is part of the activities for Safer Sex Week which is February 7-14, 2005. The fair will provide information on sexual issues, encourage persons to assess their own risk for HIV/AIDS and facilitate behaviour change toward a healthier safer sex life. HIV testing with counseling and pap smears will also be offered. We invite staff and students to be a part of this important interactive event.

“B-Safe”
The UWI HIV/AIDS Response Programme in associatiion with Students Commited to HIV/AIDS and Reproductive Education will host “B-Safe!”… A Dramafest with a difference. This will take place at the Philip Sherlock Centre for the Creative Arts on Thursday, February 10 and Friday, February 11 from 11:00 – 2:30 p.m. “B-Safe” will feature performances by I AM and NO-MADDZ. Admission is free.
